Trippier & Saint-Maximin react to Newcastle’s draw with West Ham

Newcastle United pair Kieran Trippier and Allan Saint-Maximin have taken to social media on Saturday, to provide their respective reactions to the club’s stalemate with West Ham.

Eddie Howe of course guided his troops back into action earlier this afternoon.

Amid a much-improved stretch of form which had seen them rattle off a trio of successive Premier League wins, the Magpies made the trip to the London Stadium, eyeing a 4th-straight success in a meeting with David Moyes’ high-flying Irons.

And though, when all was said and done, Newcastle didn’t quite manage a victory, the visitors did emerge from the English capital with a credible share of the spoils.

After Craig Dawson put West Ham in front just beyond the half-hour mark, Joe Willock struck a decisive equaliser on the stroke of the interval, giving rise to a 1-1 final scoreline.
