Tottenham may have transfer regret with forgotten star already ‘adding magic’ at new club | Football | Sport

La Liga gave Conte and Paratici, another healthy dose of transfer regret on Sunday when Adama Traore sparkled on his Barcelona debut. 

The Wolves loanee was rumoured to be Spurs’ top target last month, before he ultimately returned to the club with which he rose through the ranks as a youngster. 

Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso and Dele Alli could all join the party and rub Tottenham’s face in it if they go on to enjoy individual success at Lyon, Villarreal and Everton respectively. 

All three were deadline day departures, with the former two on loan and the latter ending his seven-year stint in north London permanently.
