The Dynamo match in the UEFA Junior League can be postponed from Ukraine through Russia’s possible attack

Dynamo Kyiv U-19 may play the UEFA Youth League Round of 16 home match against Sporting on neutral ground.

According to the draw, the meeting should take place on the home field of Dynamo on March 1st or 2nd. But the management of Sporting will turn to Dynamo to discuss the venue of the match. Also, the Portuguese club will consider all alternative options for how the team can get to Kiev.

This is due to the tense political situation and the possible full-fledged military invasion of Russia into the territory of Ukraine. The Portuguese government now does not recommend its citizens to visit Ukraine.

The clubs will discuss the possible holding of the match on neutral territory.

How Dynamo ended the group round

• Dynamo got into one of the most difficult groups of the stage. Kostyuk’s team played against Benfica, Barcelona and Bayern. Few people believed in the passage further, but the people of Kiev destroyed all forecasts. Dinamo finished the round in second place in the group, losing only to Portugal’s Benfica. The eagles were only two points behind.
