Real Madrid fans send Hazard message to Carlo Ancelotti after Granada

Those of a Real Madrid persuasion have sent a collective message to Carlo Ancelotti on Sunday, surrounding out-of-favour wide-man Eden Hazard.

Ancelotti’s troops of course marked their return to action a short time ago.

After seeing closest challengers Sevilla drop two costly points in the race for the La Liga title on Saturday, Los Blancos welcomed relegation-battling Granada to the Bernabeu, eyeing a comfortable three points.

And though, when all was said and done, Real did indeed emerge triumphant, the clash did not prove as straightforward to navigate as had been previously anticipated.

In fact, despite dominating both in terms of possession and chances created, Sunday’s hosts were forced to wait until the game’s 74th minute for an all-important breakthrough.

Marco Asensio proved the man on target, lashing home a pinpoint effort from 20 yards to guide Los Merengues to a potentially crucial victory.

Hazard pleas mount

Real Madrid, in turn, have climbed a full six points clear atop the Spanish top-flight.

Despite an all-round positive weekend’s work for their side, however, on the back of the full-time whistle sounding at the Bernabeu on Sunday, many were nevertheless keen to make their frustrations known.

The subject of such animosity? Carlo Ancelotti.

Amid mounting question marks surrounding Ancelotti’s team and substitute selections alike, droves of Blancos supporters have made clear their opinion that one out-of-favour member of the Italian’s ranks – in the form of Eden Hazard – should be afforded a more regular chance to impress.

This comes after the Belgian added some much-needed attacking impetus to Real’s setup versus Granada, with just some of the fan reaction from across social media showcased below:
