Everton stars Jordan Pickford and Dominic Calvert-Lewin have taken to social media on Saturday evening, to celebrate the club’s win over Leeds.
The Toffees, of course, were back in action earlier today, eyeing a bounce-back victory over Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds at Goodison Park, on the back of a concerning defeat at the hands of Newcastle in midweek.
And, when all was said and done on Merseyside, bag all three points is precisely what newly-appointed Frank Lampard’s troops managed.
A dominant display ultimately culminated in Everton emerging on the right side of a 3-0 scoreline, owing to strikes on the part of all of Seamus Coleman, Michael Keane and Anthony Gordon.

And, as alluded to above, on the back of a fine day’s work all round for the club, two members of Frank Lampard’s squad have since taken to social media, to celebrate a timely three points.
First up came shot-stopper Jordan Pickford, who was quick to hail the ‘unreal’ atmosphere around Goodison Park:
And teammate Dominic Calvert-Lewin soon followed suit, describing Everton’s triumph as ‘fresh air in the lungs’:

Everton’s victory on Saturday proved key in far more than simply raising the spirits of the club’s squad, though.
In addition, it saw the Merseyside outfit put some much-needed distance between themselves and the Premier League relegation zone.
Norwich City’s ensuing defeat at the hands of Manchester City this evening means that Everton now sit a full five points clear of the Canaries in 18th, and just a solitary point adrift of Leeds above them.
