Footage showcasing the tense scene on the back of Saturday’s Milan Derby has begun to turn heads over the course of the last 24 hours.
The clip in question centers on a heated exchange between AC Milan full-back Theo Hernandez and Inter hitman Lautaro Martinez.
The former, after being sent off in the final minutes of the action at the San Siro, was spotted making his way down the pitchside tunnel, en route to the Rossoneri dressing room.
As Theo made his way down the steps, however, Martinez approached from above, launching an angry tirade in the direction of the French international.
But even more concerning is the suggestion that Inter’s star attacker spat in Theo’s direction, as showcased at the 14-second mark of the video below.
Whatever was said, or done, evidently incensed Milan’s dismissed stopper, who reemerged from the tunnel to make a beeline for Lautaro, only for a number of players and staff members alike to separate the pair:
Lautaro qui attend que Théo descende dans le tunnel pour l’insulter 😐

Giroud the difference
Lautaro’s frustration, of course, came on the back of a potentially damaging result for his side on Saturday night.
The latest edition of the Derby della Madonnina proved a crucial one amid the battle for the Scudetto, with Inter, ahead of kick-off, having been aware that a victory would have seen them climb a full seven points clear at the summit of the Italian top-flight.
Stefano Pioli’s Milan, on the other hand, were fighting to keep their titles hopes alive, in a bid to close the gap on their city rivals to just a solitary point.
And, when all was said and done, it was the Rossoneri who came out on top, as Ivan Perisic’s first-half opener was first cancelled out by Olivier Giroud, before the Frenchman turned the clash on its head courtesy of a moment of individual brilliance to guide Milan to all three points, and derby bragging rights:
Step up, Olivier Giroud! ❤️🖤
