“They have to solve that problem, of recruiting the next man, and they have to make changes to the squad without knowing who the next man is going to be.
“You have Mauricio Pochettino pushing very hard for the job, wanting to get out of Paris Saint-Germain, trying to get that job when Solskjaer was sacked and Paris Saint-Germain not allowing him to leave, and trying again to get it at present, knowing that United have wanted to hire him in the past.”
Castles says United are yet to decide if Pochettino is the right man for them.
He claims players at PSG do not view him as a top coach.
Pochettino has been PSG boss since January 2021 but failed to win Ligue 1 in his first campaign in charge.
