And reports claim Ronaldo’s relationship with the German coach is already ‘fractured’ amid his uncharacteristic six-game goal drought.

AS states Ronaldo doesn’t believe Rangnick is qualified to be at the Old Trafford helm and that he was unhappy with the 63-year-old’s recent comments suggesting he should be scoring more.

There are corresponding murmurs suggesting that the Portuguese icon could jump ship this summer if United fail to qualify for the Champions League.

However, despite his discontent with Rangnick, that isn’t the case. Ronaldo is settled in England, and his son, Cristiano Jr, recently signed his first professional contract with the Red Devils.

United have produced positive first-half performances of late, going into half-time 1-0 up against Middlesbrough, Burnley and Southampton in their last three games.
