Luke Shaw has backed Manchester United teammate Jadon Sancho to come good after a difficult start to life at Old Trafford.
Sancho has flattered to deceive since he made a big-money move to Manchester from Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window, after two seasons of speculation.
However, he has scored twice in his last three appearances, including his first at Old Trafford, and is starting to look increasingly like the player that Manchester United fans thought that they were getting.

And Ralf Rangnick, who tried to bring the winger to RB Leipzig before Sancho opted for Borussia Dortmund, has backed him to come good, using Robert Lewandowski as an example.
‘In his 1st year at the age of 21 at a big club like Man United, other players also struggled. I remember 1st season of Lewandowski at Dortmund he was not regularly playing. I am pretty positive Jadon on right pathway now he realises he can be one of best wingers in the Premier League’, the German told the media ahead of his side’s clash with Brighton.
He is not the only one backing his talent either.
Shaw offers ringing endorsement
Speaking to Manchester United’s official site, fellow Englishman Luke Shaw offered a glowing endorsement of Sancho.
‘He’s a wonderful footballer. When you come here it’s not easy at the start – I know that personally’, he told the website.
‘Now he’s starting to find his feet a bit more and that’s really showing in the way he’s playing, especially in the last few games.’
He went on to back his forward to continue his improvement in the north west, and fulfil his world-class potential.
‘He’s going to be a world-class player and he’s got so much talent. He just needs to keep working hard, keep working on the abilities he has and be a real asset for this club’, the defender said.
High praise from his teammate.
