Marcelo Bielsa would speak to the press on Friday ahead of Leeds United’s upcoming clash with Tottenham.
Leeds will take on Antonio Conte’s Tottenham in Saturday’s early Premier League kick-off this week.
Ahead of the tie, Bielsa would discuss a number of topics. The South American was first asked how worried he was about Leeds’ league position, to which he stated: “Very worried. The worry is proportional to the results that we have been obtaining.”
Bielsa was also asked if he is feeling the pressure and he gave a very politician-like response: “I’m a normal person, I do a job that has a lot of repercussions.
“Like all the people who are not able to offer the results that are expected, situation that I’m going through is similar to that of a common person, when they are not able to achieve, or they are not achieving how they should.
“The repercussion of my task is the big difference and I’m used to living or transiting through these situations.”
Elsewhere in his presser, Bielsa would be asked for updates on Kalvin Phillips, Patrick Bamford and Liam Copper, with the Argentine suggesting that the trio will be back in early March: “There’s not a fixed date.
“The prediction that they were going to be available early March – how they are right now, it doesn’t seem like it’s going to be the case.”

Leeds vs Tottenham
Leeds United head into the Tottenham game in some pretty woeful form.
The Peacocks have so far been unable to recapture the form that made them one of the league’s most-watch sides last time out.
And after winning just five of their 25 Premier League ties in 2021/22, Leeds are very much in danger of being relegated this term.
Leeds are currently 15th in the league. However, they have just 23 points to their name with 25 games played.
Meanwhile, all of Everton, Newcastle and Burnley can overtake the Whites if they win their games in hand, meaning Leeds could very easily slip into the relegation zone in the coming weeks.
They face Tottenham at an interesting time, though. Spurs have won just one in five, but their last win did see them beat Manchester City 3-2.
