“They could go on to win the Premier League, they’re still in the Champions League, [and] they’ve obviously got a trophy to play for today. I think the winner of this trophy today will be in good stead for the rest of the season.”

And Neville has tipped Liverpool to come out on top against Thomas Tuchel’s Blues in the capital on Sunday.

“You’d have to say just Liverpool. [They have] better attacking players, [a] better team, and they look like they’re in a moment,” Neville explained.

“They’re in a great run, although Chelsea have just picked up in the last few weeks as well. I do just think Liverpool.”
