Marcelo Bielsa would hold his latest pre-match press conference on Friday morning.
The Argentine was speaking to the media ahead of Leeds United’s clash with bitter rivals, Manchester United.
Bielsa would discuss a number of topics in the presser, including team news.
And it is not great news for Leeds, with all of Kalvin Phillips, Liam Copper, Stuart Dallas and Leo Hjelde expected to miss out this weekend:
“Kalvin and Cooper continue their normal processes, the objective is that they get to March available. The medical calculation is 12 weeks and that hasn’t changed,” Bielsa said.
“Dallas is recovering, he hasn’t been discarded from Sunday’s game. And Hjelde has an injury in his knee and if the process in the next three weeks is effective he would be available in that term but it could happen that he may not recover in those 20 days which would result in him having to have a surgery.”
Bielsa was also asked for an update on Bamford, but the forward remains out with the same issue: “No, he continues with the same problem.”
Leeds vs Manchester United
Leeds United head into the game having experienced a dip in form that has seen them lose to Newcastle, draw with Aston Villa and lose to Everton.
In said games Leeds would concede a rather worrying seven goals, suggesting that their defence really needs to be tightened up this weekend.
However, Manchester United themselves are not the best at keeping clean sheets, so a goal-fest could be on the cards.

Should Leeds lose on Sunday, they are in danger of being sucked into the relegation battle.
The Whites are currently sat 15th in the Premier League, but are only six points above 18th place Norwich City right now.
As for Manchester United, they need a win to ensure they are not knocked out of the top-four this weekend.
