Gio van Bronckhorst’s side are hoping to spring a shock against the German giants tonight and after being quizzed on whether the weather could cause problems Dortmund were confident the game would go ahead without a problem.
Spokesperson Daniel Stolpe said BVB are “are looking at the situation and are in contact with UEFA” whilst joking that the Germans are “hoping for a storm warning on the pitch” [UEFA].

Marcus Rose’s Dortmund side are set to be without a string of key players for tonight’s Europa League playoff and there is no reason for Rangers to simply try and avoid being on the end of a defeat.
Haaland, Meunier, Morey and Wolf are all missing through injury while Can is suspended, leaving the Germans short on bodies in defence.
Rangers’ away form in Europe has generally been pretty good and after getting the chance to rest players when the Gers faced Annan at the weekend, they should be raring to go tonight in Dortmund.
