Gunners’ rivals stuttering

This comes despite the Gunners having actually been afforded a week off, owing to Chelsea’s participation at the Club World Cup.
Amid the hard-fought battle for the final Champions League berth in the Premier League, both Manchester United and Tottenham have already dropped points, with West Ham on course to do likewise amid a 1-1 stalemate with Leicester City.
Should the scoreline remain the same through the full-time whistle at the King Power Stadium, Arsenal, in turn, will be in pole position to clinch 4th spot, ahead of a tense season run-in in the top-flight of English football.
