Reports coming out of Spain have credited north London duo Arsenal and Tottenham with an interest in West Ham defender, Ben Johnson.
As per football.london citing Spanish outlet Fichajes, Arsenal and Tottenham are both interested in signing West Ham’s Ben Johnson.
Johnson is having an excellent season for the Hammers, which is also said to has brought the attention of Liverpool.
No potential fee is mentioned in the report, but as Johnson is English, still only 22 and is now under contract until 2024, it is hard to see West Ham letting him go on the cheap.

Ben Johnson’s West Ham stint
London-born Johnson is a product of West Ham’s academy and has spent all of his career at the club.
It was not until last season, though, that Johnson began to feature on a regular basis for the Hammers’ senior side.
The Englishman would notch 14 league appearances for West Ham last term, playing a role in the Londoners securing Europa League football.
And whilst he was used as a squad player last term, Johnson has become much more of a regular feature in 2021/22.
Johnson has already featured 12 times in the Premier League this campaign and has now made his Europa League debut, notching 90 minutes of action vs Rapid Vienna and then against Genk.
Should Arsenal and Tottenham sign Johnson?
Of the two north London clubs, it is probably fair to say that Tottenham are more in need of a new right-back.
Antonio Conte is clearly not a fan of Tottenham’s previous first-choice right-back, Emerson Royal, with Matt Doherty instead taking his spot for Spurs in their last clash.
Arsenal, meanwhile, could do with some back-up to Takehiro Tomiyasu. But if Johnson does move clubs, you would assume it would be to somewhere he starts regularly, and it is hard to see that happening at Arsenal.
